The Azure DNS outage section nails it. When centralized infrastructure becomes the single point of failure for entire regions, the "cloud resilience" narrative starts to crack. I've seen orgs that treat cloud as bulletproof suddenly realize their multi-region strategy still relies on a shared control plane. The part about DNS being the Achilles heel is exactly right, becaus once resolution breaks, nothing else matters how redundant your app tier is.
